The Conception Harbour Heritage group is hosting a Sunday afternoon country music event at the parish hall, next to the Jamie Murphy Memorial. Doors open at 1 p.m.

Effective June 1, the Carbonear AA group is relocating to the Keyin College building on Goff Avenue. Meeting schedule is unchanged: Monday,Wednesday and Friday at 8:30 p.m.

Cancer care fundraiser

No Retreat, No Surrender will be hosting fundraising events June 7 and 8 in Harbour Grace. June 7 there will be a meet and greet at 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Admiral’s Marina. At 10 p.m. there will be a dance at the Harbour Breeze. On June 8, there will be a moose sausage breakfast at the Admiral’s Marina at 8 a.m., followed by a motorcycle ride at 1:30 p.m. For more, call John at 597-2382 or Curtis 589-4050.

Senior and youth fair and exhibition
