This year’s Killdevil Fair in Gros Morne National Park promises music, dancing, stories, hiking and crafts.
The festival takes place at Killdevil Camp this Saturday, the final day of the Vinland Music Camp, from 1-8 p.m after the camp’s student concert ends.
A prepared release says the fair will feature outdoor and indoor performances, displays of crafts, park interpretative presentations and food in an informal, relaxed atmosphere.
Guests this year are Anita Best, Angie Payne, Scot Schillereff, Catherine Wright and Len Sperry. Instructors form the Vinland Music Camp, collectively known as Lomond Sound, will also perform.
Homemade soup and desserts for lunch and a hot turkey dinner for supper will be available for a reasonable cost.
There is no admission charge but donations to charity will be accepted.
