Guests at this year's Green's Harbour/Hopeall firefighters' ball were treated to some top-notch service by members of the brigade on Saturday, April 28.
Chief Aaron Hillier and other members of the department delivered steaming hot plates of roast beef supper to the roughly 120 people in attendance at the Green's Harbour Community Centre (former Lions Club).
It was the most successful ball in many years for the department, and a sign of rejuvenation.
The 14 volunteers took part in many training opportunities during the past year, and continue to upgrade their knowledge and skills.
Chief Hillier was among those honoured during the formalities, and was named the brigade's firefighter of the year.
