Burgoyne’s Cove business robbed, damaged

Police are investigating a report of a break-in at a business in the community of Burgoyne’s Cove on the Bonavista Peninsula.

According to a Clarenville-Bonavista District RCMP news release, a substantial amount of wire was stolen from the Hurley Slate Works site in the community. Aside from the theft, police report the building was also damaged.

Anyone with information relating to the incident is asked to contact police at 466-3211 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-22-TIPS (8477).
