A woman who was allegedly driving a car without a licence crashed into a house Friday morning in Burnt Point on the Bay de Verde peninsula.

According to Trinity Conception RCMP, the accident occurred sometime around 9:30 a.m. The driver sustained minor injuries after her car struck the gravel shoulder of the road, causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle and hit the house.

The 52-year-old female from Gull Island was the only person inside the car.
