Four percent prefer the Green Party, compared with two per cent one year ago.

Meanwhile, over four in 10 are undecided, do not plan to vote, or do not offer a response, that’s 44 per cent, compared with 41 per cent one year ago.

One-quarter of Atlantic Canadians — 24 per cent up from 13 per cent one year ago — would prefer Interim Liberal leader Bob Rae as primeminister, according to the poll, while three in 10 (28 per cent, compared with 30 per cent) back current Primeminister Stephen Harper.

Support for Thomas Mulcair of the NDP is stable despite a decline in party support at 22 per cent, while backing for Elizabeth May of the Green Party stands at seven percent, up from  four per cent.
