Three injured following collision on New Harbour Barrens

Three people were taken to hospital with minor injuries early this morning following a three-vehicle collision on Route 73, better known as the New Harbour Barrens.

The accident occurred just before 6 a.m. on a bend in the road, near what police describe as the “old track.”

Roads were icy at the time.

Two of the vehicles sustained extensive damage.

Details about the number of people involved, the gender of those injured and the type of vehicles were unavailable.
