Hunter fatally shot on Bonavista Peninsula

RCMP Bonavista Detachment with the assistance of the Chief Medical Examiner's Office are investigating a shooting that resulted in the death of an adult male from St. Jones Within on Feb. 25. RCMP officers were called to the community of Old Bonaventure in Trinity Bay today where it was reported that an adult male was shot while turr hunting. The body was brought to the Health Sciences Centre in St. John's for autopsy.
