Driver was R.C. priest, passenger worked with Labrador Grenfell Health

The RCMP has released the names of the victims of Wednesday's double fatal accident on the Northern Peninsula Highway.

Fr. Biju Antony, the 39-year-old driver, was killed when his car collided with a snowplow. Antony was a Roman Catholic priest from India who was working in the area and living in Bird Cove.

Justin Devis, a 28-year-old passenger, was also a native of India. He was employed by Labrador Grenfell Health and was living in St. Anthony.

The RCMP has confirmed that a 39-year-old male driver killed Wednesday on the Northern Peninsula HIghway when his car collided with a snowplow was a Roman Catholic priest from India who was working in the area. He was living in Bird Cove.

A 28-year-old male passenger from St Anthony, also a native of India, was employed by Labrador Grenfell Health.  Police say names will not be released at this time to respect wishes of their families.

    I know the passenger who killed in this accident. Justin was in Toronto for his exam and stayed with one of my friend Mr Francis.after that he went to Labrador He went back to kerala and got married on October 20th .in November he came back from India, [ that time he visited our malayalam church in Scarborough any way his married life was 73 days. The Priest who killed ,also from Moovattupuza
