T’Railway washouts near Indian Pond and Lance Cove

The Department of Environment and Conservation is advising the public that washouts have occurred along sections of the T’Railway Provincial Park in Conception Bay South near Indian Pond and Lance Cove.

While the T’Railway is passable, all off-road vehicle users are asked to use reduced speed in these areas.

The affected areas have been marked with signs and the department says an update will be provided at a later date.

a section of the branch line between Long Harbour road and Fox Harbour road ( placentia Junction - Argentia )was washed out years ago and has NEVER been repaired. the T'Rail/ trail is used by people of all ages and also from people from different provinces and also from different countries. this trail is a valuable asset and should be maintained. a little maintenance ever year should not be asking too much for a recreation trail that gets year around 24/7 use.
