Entrance will reopen on Oct. 6
On Oct. 5, the main entrance of the Carbonear General Hospital will be temporarily closed.
Eastern Health announced the scheduled work in a release on Oct. 4.
There will be a sheltered area for patient and visitor drop off.
Visitors to the hospital are advised to use the clinic entrance adjacent to the main entrance in order to access services.
The entrance wilkl reopen on Oct. 6, although work around the entrance will continue for six weeks.
During the construction period, noise may be generated around the entrance from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m..
Eastern Health asks the public to proceed with caution and that normal construction safeguards will be in place.
