More accidents reported in Corner Brook

The West Coast received its first real shot of winter of the year overnight Wednesday, as the driver of this vehicle discovered. No one was seriously hurt but police are advising drivers to be sure their vehicles have snow tires installed and to slow down during inclement weather.

CORNER BROOK  The Corner Brook RNC continue to respond to a number of accidents early in this winter season.

After there were four on Monday throughout the city, there was another three reported Tuesday to police. The RNC described each of them as minor, two-vehicle accidents. Police stated there were no injuries in either.

The accidents occurred on Mount Bernard Avenue, Clifton Street and Elizabeth Street.

    Shouldn't they be reported as collisions. An accident has no apparent cause. Collisions happen because one or more people were doing something they shouldn't.

    What is up with people? Why does every driver believe they are the best driver in the world.....wrong again! Slow down whats the hurry? A few more cops on the road wouldn't hurt either.
