The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is investigating two armed robberies in the St. John’s-metro region Tuesday.

Around 3 p.m., police responded to a complaint of an armed robbery at a service station on Torbay Road in St. John’s.
The RNC says a female suspect entered the business and demanded cash, but left empty handed. There were no injuries.
At 5:10 p.m., police officers responded to complaint of an armed robbery at a Paradise convenience store.
A lone female was reported to have entered the store armed with an edged weapon and demanded cash. She left in an unidentified vehicle. There were no injuries.
