Police and ambulances responded late Monday afternoon to the scene of a single-vehicle accident on the Trans-Canada Highway in the east-bound lane west of Paddy's Pond.

A car has gone off the road and over an embankment. Paramedics are treating at least one person for what appear to be non-life-threatening injuries on the scene.

East bound traffic is down to one lane and is moving slowly as police direct traffic around the scene.

    I guess the moose got away. After all accidents are caused by moose not poor driving.
