Calvin Eddy and Henry Fiander are the proponents of the Burin Peninsula Five Mile Pond Area ATV Trail.
The men plan to construct the trail by clearing low brush and corduroying wet areas.
And they plan to do so by the sweat of their brows.
The assessment bulletin notes that no heavy equipment will be used to construct the trail, with all work being done with hand tools such as chainsaws and axes.
The undertaking was registered Thursday.
The deadline for public comments is Feb. 14 and the minister’s decision is due by Feb. 23.
