In a news release, the PUB said the process will initially focus on Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro’s ability to meet load requirements on the system throughout this winter and the next several winter seasons.
At a meeting on Wednesday, Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro provided information to the PUB, which can be viewed under the heading Island Interconnected System - January 2014 Supply Issues and Power Outages on the board’s website at http://www.pub.nl.ca.
The PUB will establish the process and timelines for the inquiry and hearing in the next several days.
