RNC investigating complaint of mischief involving accelerant

The RNC is investigating a complaint of mischief in which a person may have attempted to cause damage to a St. John's residence using an accelerant.


RNC officers responded to the incident about 10 p.m. Wednesday in the area of Spencer Street.

There were no injuries to anyone or damage to property as a result. 

The RNC also notes that, at this time, there is no information to suggest the incident is related to organized crime.

Officers from RNC patrol services, forensic identification services, criminal investigation division, as well as police dog services, responded to the incident.

The RNC is seeking assistance from the public with regard to this incident.
