The United Way of Newfoundland and Labrador is accepting proposals for its Community Fund grants.
In a news release on Feb. 12, the St. John's-based organization is asking registered chariteis to submit proposals supporitng the impace areas identified by United Way.
This funding is avalible due to the support of individuals and organizations throughout the province during the United Way's 2-13 workplace campaign.
In 2013, there was some 50 groups in the province received grants totaling $650,000.
