If you like high winds the Trinity-Conception-Placentia region had everything you needed on Feb. 16.

This trailer was overturned on top of Columbus Drive in Carbonear just before the 'Welcome to Victoria' sign.

For most of the day, winds peaked between 100-150 kilometres an hour causing havoc for some in the region.

Houses shook, windows rattled and trees lost some branches as the wind pounded into the early morning hours.

A barn in Bay Roberts had its door blown off, while a couple of houses lost pieces of siding.

This trailer at the top of Bunker Hill on Route 70 in Carbonear was tipped onto its side at some point during the evening.

These winds were expected to continue into mid-morning today (Feb. 17), before slacking off as the day progresses.
