Man, woman arrested for possession of stolen vehicle
Police investigators in Halifax said today they are treating the disappearance of Loretta Saunders as suspicious after her car was found in Ontario being driven by a man and a woman.

Saunders, 26, who is originally from Newfoundland, was reported missing by her family on Monday.
The Halifax Regional Police and the RCMP reported Saunders was last seen in the Cowie Hill Road area of Halifax on the morning of Feb. 13.
On Tuesday night, with assistance from the Ontario Provincial Police’s (OPP) Essex County detachment, Saunder’s car was located in Harrow, Ont.
A 25-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were arrested without incident and are currently in the custody of the OPP on charges of possession of a stolen vehicle and for outstanding warrants.
Investigators are asking anyone who may have seen Saunders or her car, a Toyota Celica bearing Newfoudland and Labrador licence plate HCP 543, since Feb. 13 to contact them at 490-5020.
Saunders is described as an Inuk woman, 5’7”, 120 pounds, with light-brown, straight hair.
