It appears all the snow and rain of the past couple of weeks has caused a portion of the roof to collapse at Ocean Choice International’s former fish plant in Marystown.

Once an economic driver in the town, the company officially closed the facility in December 2011, throwing over 200 people out of work.

The plant, which opened in 1967, employed over 1,000 at the height of operations.
