Residential break-in reported in South River

Police in the Trinity-Conception region are reaching out for public assistance to help find those responsible for a break-in and theft at a cabin in South River.

Investigators say the cabin on Boone's Road in South River was entered sometime between Wednesday, April 16 and Saturday, April 19.

A number of items were stolen, including a 22-inch Polaroid television and various food and beverage items. There was no damage to the property.

    This is exactly why there needs to be more of a police presence in the area. No doubt this was the group of unruly teens that have been damaging property throughout town. Just look at the Town Hall and surround wooded areas, they are destroying our little town. Juvenile delinquents and ignorant parents will be the downfall of society.
