A security guard steeling. what do people expect with some of these companies paying minimum wage or a dollar or two above it. Very few security jobs pay a decent wage, if you luck out and get Government Security MUN CEP or Bull Arm, Long Harbour or in the hospitals If the pay was better then that could reduce the problem to a point.

It's pretty bad when you can't leave a few loonies in the desk drawer for the 2:00pm run to the snack machine.

I would like to clarify that this was a contract security guard and had nothing to do with Security Services of the Transportation and Works

I am a guard with Department of Transportation and Works and that story makes it seem like it's Government guards when in fact it was a contractor. The rooms is contracted out to private security contractor. Thank you for your kind attention. Sam

We are Security Officers, the individual was a Guard with an outside contactor there is a difference we are highly trained and more professional than these pretend robo cops that outside contractors higher with no or very little training. Seems to me that Security Services should be manning all Gov. Buildings. Thank you for correcting the original story. Peter
