Man facing drug-related charge

A 35-year-old man from Glovertown is facing drug-related charges following a traffic stop on the Burin Peninsula Monday.

Burin Peninsula District RCMP seized marijuana and cash during a traffic stop Monday. A 35-year-old man from Glovertown was arrested as a result. 

The RCMP discovered three-quarter pounds of marijuana and more than $7,800 cash, all of which was seized.

The accused was subsequently released to face a charge of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.

He is due to appear in provincial court in Grand Bank Oct. 1.

    Wahoooo, big deal, go find the coke dealers n pill pushers, then watch the crime rate go down, no one dpes crime on grass, its the coke n pills thats causing all the break ins etc
