Man dies in industrial accident at Norris Arm

Lewisporte RCMP is investigating the death of a 56-year-old man at a construction site in Central Newfoundland.

On the morning of Dec. 15, RCMP Lewisporte was dispatched to an industrial accident at the Central Nova Waste Management property in Norris Arm North. Upon arrival at the scene, RCMP were informed that a 56-year-old male had fallen approximately 40 feet from the top a building currently under construction. The male was pronounced dead at the scene.

The RCMP along with the Provincial Occupational Health and Safety office are currently investigating the incident.  The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

    Why not use the common noun "man" to prevent people like me from asking a "male" what? If it was a moose, it should read "bull."
