It was a family affair for many of the skaters at the Harbour Grace stadium March 2. That was no exception for the Rodgers family. Five-year-old Keira (front), mom Kimberley (left) and nine-year-old Brady (centre) enjoyed a fun skate with friend Rylie Noel, eight.

She may only be three, but Quinn Butt (right) from Harbour Grace was one of the most skilled child skaters on the ice March 2. Quinn came to the Winter Carnival skating event with her mom Andrea and enjoyed her time on the ice.

The annual Winter Carnival in the Town of Harbour Grace was a great success. Dozens of children attended a pancake breakfast at the fireman`s social building and a free skate at the S.W. Moores Memorial Stadium March 2 to conclude the festivities. The following are some highlights of the day`s events.
