Nathan Bakogeorge, five, jumps off the top of a snow pile at the Carbonear Recreation Complex March 2. Nathan`s mom, Abby Noel, brought him to the event to conclude Carbonear`s winter carnival.

A continuing tradition in Carbonear, the annual Frosty`s birthday party at the Carbonear Recreation Complex, took place on the last Sunday of the winter carnival, March 2. Some 40 children bundled up and headed to the complex to play winter games, including an obstacle course and ``make the best frosty`` activity, where children wrapped parents in toilet paper to transform them into the famous snowman. The following are some snapshots from the event.
