CeeBees kick-off training camp
The Conception Bay North CeeBee Stars had its first official practice of the new year at Brother O'Hehir Arena in St. John's, Sept. 29. It was the first chance for fans to check out the new faces on the team. It was also the first chance for new players Robert Slaney, Terry Ryan, Mike Thomas, Colin Escott, Jordan Escott and Charles Lavigne to start to get a feel for their new teammates. Head coach Corey Crocker put his charges through their paces over the course of the two hour session. The CeeBees are preparing for the sophomore season of the Newfoundland and Labrador Senior Hockey League. Last season, the CeeBees finished in 4th place in the five team league with a record of eight wins, 10 losses and 6 overtime losses. The team bowed in the playoffs after dropping the opening series to the Clarenville Caribous.
