Thompson pitches shutout, Junior Stars pick up win

Draped in their new jerseys, the Conception Bay North CeeBee Junior Stars soundly beat the CBR Junior Renegades 4-0 Friday(Dec. 7) night at the Bay Arena in Bay Roberts. Junior Stars starter Connor Thompson put on a show stopping the 25 Renegades shots he faced, with many of his stops falling in the spectacular category. Zac Lang sparked the offence for the Junior Stars with two goals, while Cody Batten and Zack Quinlan picked up singles.
