With the new season of the Newfoundland and Labrador Senior Hockey League set to kick off in a matter of weeks, the Conception Bay North CeeBees Stars are in the midst of its holding seat sales.

The holding seat allows the public to select any seat at the S.W. Moores Memorial Stadium in Harbour Grace based on availability, and purchase a ticket for that seat for all CeeBees home games during the regular season, playoffs and for the Herder Memorial Trophy championship final.

The cost of the holding seats is $50, with the price of game tickets being extra.

Here is the schedule for the CeeBees seat sales:

• Friday (Oct. 12) from 1-5 p.m.;

• Saturday (Oct. 13) from 9 a.m.-Noon;

• Monday to Wednesday (Oct.15-17) from 1-5 p.m.

$50? I'll save my money, I went last year and could sit anywhere, what a waste of money. Who's decision was this? I guess they are hoping to recoup the money they spend flying the coach in every weekend. Again, another waste.
