Cataracts complete weekend sweep over CeeBees with 3-2 win

The Grand Falls-Windsor Cataracts completed a weekend sweep of the visiting Conception Bay North CeeBee Stars Sunday with a narrow 3-2 win at the Joe Byrne Memorial Arena.

Ray Dalton and Robert Slaney scored in a losing effort, which saw the CeeBees outshoot the Cats 43-37.

The CeeBees now drop to 3-3 on the season, while the Cataracts vault into first place with a perfect 4-0 record.

    I heard Kenny Powers lowered the boom on Grant Mills this weekend. Boys are going to have to pull up their socks though. Can't keep losing series like that. I hope the money tree doesn't fall over. Word around tim's is there's not a lot going to be to the games next weekend. Most everyone is saying they are paying the boys too much money.
