An overcast morning turned into a sun-filled afternoon as some 72 golfers tee'd off at Pitcher's Pond Golf Course in Whiteway on Aug. 25.
Golfers were participating in the first annual Ray Thompson Memorial Golf Tournament in honour of one of the forefathers of the nine-hole course.
Participants, many of which were local golfers, were treated to 18-holes of golf and a steak dinner at the end of the event.
Organizers called the event "totally successful."
