There were players from all over the region, including Clarenville and CeeBees minor.

It was a part of the St. John's IceCaps Jungle Jim's Minor Hockey Festival tour, which also included a stop at the Pepsi Centre in Corner Brook.

Members of the IceCaps hockey development team, along with Trevor Murphy the director of community partnerships for the IceCaps, took the young participants through drills both on the ice and off of it.

The off-ice sessions were conducted in the Wesley Gosse Memorial Bay Room.

The team's mega popular mascot Buddy the Puffin was also on hand to the delight of the players.

The three hour timeslot was divided into three sessions from 5 p.m.-8 p.m.

At the end, a group picture was taken for each group.
