BAY ROBERTS, NL — The students and staff at Coley's Point Primary in Bay Roberts kicked off Education Week by integrating a celebration of the 2018 Olympic Winter Games.

The education week theme "Believe and Achieve" is certainly a fitting goal for Olympic athletes, not to mention children all across our province. Students, teachers and support staff came together in the gymnasium for an Olympic opening ceremonies donning the Olympic colors.

Each class in the school represented a country participating in the games. Coley's Point Primary prides itself in creating an environment where all students feel included and are encouraged to achieve all they are capable of.

To conclude our ceremonies we symbolized this important philosophy by forming the Olympic rings as a whole school. Five rings made up of individuals who are interconnected in learning and achievement.
