Power of Life aids chemo unit in Carbonear


The Power of Life Project has donated an automatic blood pressure monitor to the chemotherapy toom at Carbonear General Hospital.

This investment, worth more than $4,000, comes as a result of fundraising efforts by Newfoundland Power employees and retirees in the area.

Enhancing cancer treatment facilities in Newfoundland and Labrador has been an ongoing goal for The Power of Life Project.

The Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation is greatly appreciative of the support from the partners in The Power of Life Project.  

We thank Newfoundland Power and the dedication of their employees and retirees in the Carbonear area for their continued commitment to enhancing the lives of those living with cancer in our province.
