CLARENVILLE, NL— It's a fun, festive tradition that brings a little holiday magic to a sometimes hectic and dramatic workplace.
Each year, the different departments of Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital and the Dr. Albert O'Mahony Memorial Manor compete in a Christmas tree competition, with prizes being awarded to the top three trees.
It's a tradition that started many years ago, and one that brings smiles to the faces of employees, residents and visitors.
While some departments decorate their trees in a traditional Christmas style, others choose a unique theme, like this year's Superhero tree in emergency or the Laundry Day tree in food and environmental services.
