Cpl. Vince Clark told The Compass police first learned about the break-ins April 26. Reports came in throughout that morning from Makinsons, North River, Shearstown and Tilton. He said police suspect the incidents are connected.
In a notice dated April 26, Canada Post said the incidents were reported to its security and investigations division, as well as police.
“Although the incident is beyond the control of Canada Post, we wish to express our sincere regrets for any resulting inconvenience,” the notice said.
