HARBOUR GRACE, NL — A charity hockey game in support of a Clarke’s Beach family will be held Tuesday night in Harbour Grace.

The Russell family recently lost their home to a house fire that occurred in Clarke’s Beach early Wednesday morning, Dec. 6. Following news of the incident, residents of Harbour Grace decided to raise money for the family during the holiday season.

On Tuesday night, Dec. 19, a charity hockey game will be held at the Danny Cleary Harbour Grace Community Centre, starting at 7:30 p.m.

Money raised for the family will come from admission at the door, which consists of donations. All proceeds from the event, which sees CeeBees minor hockey coaches facing off against Bay Arena Rovers coaches, will be donated to the Russell family following the game.
