HARBOUR GRACE, NL — One man has been charged in relation to a recent armed robbery in Bay Roberts.
Barry Shawn Wilson Power was charged with unlawfully committing robbery, assault with a weapon or imitation, and being disguised with intent following a police investigation into an armed robbery at the Royal Canadian Legion in Bay Roberts on Thursday, Mach 8. While the matter is still under investigation, Sgt. Brent Hillier of the Bay Roberts RCMP detachment told The Compass there was enough evidence to lay charges against Power.
These charges were laid on Saturday, March 10, and Power was subsequently released following a bail hearing held on Monday, March 12.
