ST. ANTHONY, NL — Police in St. Anthony are investigating various incidents of mischief in St. Anthony involving the changing of speed limit signs.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) report sometime between Aug. 29 and Sept. 1, the suspects defaced several traffic signs around the area of East Street and West Street causing damages to the town property.
The 30 kilometres per hour speed limit in the area of East Street and West Street, where the signs were changed in appearance to 80 kilometres per hour, remain in effect.
