Police to hold news conference on Dale Porter murder case

A 2014 murder case in North River will be the subject of an RCMP news conference this afternoon in St. John's.

According to a news release, no information about what RCMP will have to say about the case will be released before the news conference is held at 2:30 p.m.

Dale Porter was found severely injured outside his home in the Conception Bay North community on June 29, 2014. The 39-year-old father of two didn't survive. Police ruled his death a homicide.
