RCMP investigating armed robbery in Clarenville

Clarenville RCMP are investigating an armed robbery at the Restland Motel in Clarenville, which occurred during the early hours of this morning.

According to a press release issued by the Clarenville RCMP detachment this morning, two men entered the building and came to the front desk with weapons, making demands.  

The clerk complied with the demands and was uninjured.   

The culprits fled the scene through the side door, with an undisclosed quantity of stolen goods.  

The suspects are described as in their twenties, average height and slim build. They were wearing black hoodies, sunglasses, face coverings, and gloves.  

Clarenville RCMP are seeking the assistance of the public in identifying the suspects.
