Another armed robbery in St. John's with a syringe


There was another reported armed robbery in St. John's Monday night with a syringe.

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary responded to the call around 11:20 p.m. at Ultramar on Blackmarsh Road.

The K-9 Unit and Forensic Identification Section also responded.

The RNC says a lone female entered the business and threatened staff with a syringe. The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of cash. There were no injuries reported.

The female suspect is described as being approximately five feet, five inches tall, thin with blonde

hair. At the time of the offence, the suspect was wearing a yellow hoodie with black stripes and black pants.

The RNC is continuing to investigate this incident and is seeking the assistance of the general public.
