The Harbour Grace Ocean Enterprises CeeBee Stars are a win away from advancing to the Avalon East Senior Hockey League championship series.

A.J. Whiffen stopped 49 shots in the team’s 2-0 victory over St. John’s Green Sleeves Caps Monday night in Goulds. Colin Feehan and Andrew Fenwick scored for the CeeBees, who now lead the best-of-seven series 3-1. Game five takes place Saturday night in Harbour Grace, where the home team is undefeated this season.

In the other semifinal series, the Puglisevich Southern Shore Breakers and Tapper's Northeast Eagles are tied 2-2, with game five to be played Friday night in Torbay.
