Users of the Bay Arena in Bay Roberts are doing all they can for the next few hours to attract votes that could help net the facility $100,000 and an NHL pre-season game.

The Conception Bay North arena is one of 10 across Canada in the running to claim a spot in the final round of voting for Kraft Hockeyville. Voting closes at 1:30 a.m. Newfoundland time Tuesday, March 14.

The Town of Bay Roberts took over arena operations last year and has identified the roof and lighting system as areas in need of upgrades. The arena opened in 1985.
