The club from Carbonear had a team of six on hand for the Body Quest Mount Pearl Marlins Junior Invitational and returned from the meet with six medals and lots of personal-best times.

Leading the way for Poseidon was Rylee Moores, who collected two medals in the 11-years-and-older female category. Moores took five seconds off her previous personal best to claim silver in the 100-metre individual medley event. Moores also won a bronze medal in 50-m freestyle.

Sarah Burt earned a silver medal in 200-m breaststroke, Robyn Gale claimed a bronze by shaving seven seconds off her previous personal best in 100-m individual medley, and Mackenzie Sutton won a bronze medal in 100-m backstroke. All three competed in the girls 11-years-and-older age category.

Burt, Gale, Moores and Sutton shared a medal in the 4x50-m freestyle relay, finishing less than three seconds ahead of the fourth-place team.

Ciara O'Keefe and Julia Verge also represented Poseidon at the meet, held April 8-9, and finished with personal-best times for multiple events.
