MOBILE, NL — The Carbonear Collegiate Sentinels boys hockey team had an impressive run at a recent high school tournament in Mobile.

One of four teams participating in the Dec. 29-30 event, Carbonear Collegiate found itself facing South Dildo's Crescent Collegiate Coyotes in the championship game. The Sentinels won 3-2 Saturday to claim the championship.

Carbonear Collegiate collected two wins and one loss in round-robin action, shutting out Holy Trinity High from Torbay 5-0 and defeating the 4-2 before losing to the host school Mobile Central High 6-3.
