You just had to see this race in order to believe it. With as little as 3 wks practice and their first time ever in a boat, these girls over took the pond at the 149th. Hr. Grace Regatta. They were in a combined race with another midget crew and 2 juvenile crews. They done 6:44, that was 22 secs from the next closest crew. They done amazing. Everyone is so proud of them especially their cox, Lenny Williams, whom had alot of patients, respect, and faith in those girls. They done a remarkable job. Along with their sponsors Brian and Melissa Mercer of Maxium Contracting and their parents, they would like to say good job girls, we are all proud of you.
