Another year is upon us with many people ringing in 2019 earlier this week.
QUESTION: Have you made a New Year’s resolution this year? If you did, what is it and if you didn’t, what’s the reason for not making one?
Port au Port East
New Year’s is a time for a new beginning, a time for renewal, to put the past in the past so we can move on into the future. My resolution for this year is to stay on track with my health issues and stay close to family and friends.
I always make a resolution. The thing is I try to keep as physically active as I can. I do a bit of walking each day and usually go to the pool every weekday. I hope to keep that up for all of 2019 and to keep in good health.
I never made any resolution for this year and I really don’t know why I didn’t.
I am making a resolution that will go into effect after Old Christmas Day and that’s to give up smoking after being at it for about 50 years off and on. There comes a time when you must look after your health.
I didn’t make a New Year’s resolution this year simply because I haven’t had the time and never really thought about it.
Yeah, I made a resolution. I’m going to help the elderly a whole lot more, which I have already started and will continue to do throughout the year. It’s time to go back to the old ways.
