Another Harbour Main Liberal candidate announced

A third candidate is potentially in the running to represent the Liberals in the district of Harbour Main this fall.

Elizabeth "Betty" Parsley, the mayor of Harbour Main-Chapel's Cove-Lakeview, hopes to represent the Liberals this fall in the provincial district of Harbour Main.

Elizabeth “Betty” Parsley recently announced her candidacy in a news release. She is currently the mayor of Harbour Main-Chapel’s Cove-Lakeview and has served on the town’s council since 2007.

A call for nominations has not been issued yet for the district, which is currently represented by Progressive Conservative MHA Tom Hedderson. Former Brigus town councillor Rod Fowler and businessman Bill Jeffery have also announced they will seek the party’s nomination to run in the fall provincial election.
